Most Memorable Travel Experience : Seeing Sunset in Bali

My most memorable travel experience would be my first time traveling. Back in 2011 as a high school student, I spend most of my free time on Tumblr, that's where I first learned about the places beyond my home. Being a beach bum myself, I tend to follow summer and nature blogs. Most of the summer images that I laid my eyes on, appears to be taken on an island called BALI. Where I live, Singapore, may not have the most enchanting nature or the bluest seas, which explains my moment of awe upon seeing those images. The scenic views of nature and the vibrant colors of Bali simply took my breath away, making it my first dream destination. The moment I heard that we're going to Bali, I was ecstatic and was eagerly counting down the days to it.

In Bali, naturally, we visited the popular places for travelers such as Tanah Lot, Ubud, Mount Batur, Kuta, and Dreamland Beach. I remembered my experience in Tanah Lot dearly its the first time I witnessed the "real sunset" right in front of my eyes. This magical moment happens during the Kecak performance which is located on the edge of the hilltop, overlooking the sea. because of where I was sitting, I felt so close to the magnificent scenery of the sunset. I was so immersed at the moment that I felt emotional, I was gushed with a sudden feeling of gratefulness. It's truly a memorable moment. Also, I get to eat the best-grilled corn that is literally incomparable, only in Tanah Lot!

Similarly, setting my foot in Dreamland Beach puts me in disbelief! To get to the beach we have to take a long hike down from where we parked, where there was no sight of the sea. As we go further down, the bright blue sea was peaking through the trees. "It's like in the pictures!" I gasped in awe when we finally reached a clear spot, giving us a full view of the beach. I find myself smiling my heart out when I was at the dreamland beach. sentosa beach is nowhere near this perfection!😂

The blue sea spreads wide along the horizon giving us a breathtaking view. It makes me want to see all the clear and blue waters in the world. Bali is truly a wonder of nature. Also, we love how the streets of Bali is filled with Balinese arts and culture. From the colorful offerings made out of leaves filled with flowers and incense to the intricate statues and stone carvings, painted a vibrant yet serene image of the streets of Bali. My experiences in Bali makes me realize my fascination towards the tranquility and serenity in life.

💗May we be blessed with more magical moments!💗
